We are seeking an internal communications professional to develop and execute employee engagement strategies. Reporting to the Manager Employee Communications, you will be required to implement a range of tactics that connect employees with organisational strategy, instill brand and company pride and strengthen community within Qantas.
Establishing relationships with internal stakeholders and supporting the groups across the business will be critical to your success. You will also have the ability to identify external issues which may influence employee perception and interaction with customers. As a key member of Corporate Communications, you will also provide support to the wider team, when necessary.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing employee communication strategies;
Working closely with Senior Executives in Corporate Services and Finance to ensure the delivery of messages to employees;
Creating and managing editorial content for internal publications;
Acting as a communication adviser, providing guidance to Senior Executives and business units;
Undertaking change and project management responsibilities when required; and
Identifying, monitoring and reviewing effectiveness of communication programs to ensure continuous improvement and best practice.
To be considered for this role you will have:
Degree qualifications in Communications or a similar field;
Demonstrated experience in, and a passion for creating staff engagement programs;
Seasoned communication skills, with an understanding of delivering internal communication strategies in a large and complex corporate environment;
Experience working with senior executive management;
Proven time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines; and
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
